The 1958 Edsel Ranger Sedan, known in-game simply as the Edsel Ranger, is a vehicle in Chat. It is classed as a sedan in game and, despite its very rare and sought after status in real life, is used by the Volunteer Service Task Force in the pre-LMBW flashback mission of Carson Harper.

The Ranger, despite its more luxury oriented style, is a fast car. It is able to compete with even a few of the muscle cars. Even its Unique modifications reflect this sporty performance. However, unlike other muscle cars, most of which have four gears or more, the Ranger only has three.
However, in order to reach this high top speed, you will need to wait a while for the car to accelerate. Despite having a large engine, the car is simply too heavy for a speedy takeoff.
Braking is considered bad, especially when compared to even muscle cars and vans. The car is extremely heavy and rolls slightly when cornering, making its turning ability even worse.
Another downside comes from an unlikely source: Shifting gears. In real life, all Edsel models use unreliable push button gear select for an automatic or manual transmission on the steering wheel, where the horn would normally be in a modrn car. As a result, there is an extremely slight delay in when the accelerator button is pressed and when the car actually starts moving in game. The delay is so small, that it can only be seen when comparing it side by side to another car.
Its turning circle is wide and is about the same as the Chevy Bel Air.
